Hand-Painted Color · Upper East Side
Balayage that grows out beautifully
Custom hand-painted color built around your face, your skin tone and how you actually wear your hair. Soft regrowth, sun-kissed finish, three to four months between visits.
From $120 · 2.5–4 hours · Touch-up every 3–4 months
Why clients choose balayage
Built around you
Placement is custom to your face shape and how you part your hair — not a one-size-foil pattern.
Soft, lived-in
No hard line of regrowth. The color grows out as part of the look instead of demanding a touch-up.
Half the upkeep
Touch-ups every 3–4 months instead of every 6–8 weeks. Save your hair and your calendar.
The balayage process
Color consult
Inspiration photos, skin-tone match, and a realistic timeline. We tell you what is and isn't achievable in one session.
Hand-painted application
Section by section, lightener is painted freehand onto the hair around the face and through the mid-lengths to ends.
Process
Color develops while open to air (classic balayage). For added lift, we may foil sections — this is custom to your hair.
Rinse & tone
We rinse and apply a custom gloss to perfect the tone — cool, warm, or neutral depending on your skin.
Cut & style
Optional cut. Always a clean blowdry so you walk out of the salon photo-ready.
Aftercare
We send you home with a bond-protecting routine: purple shampoo (if blonde), sulfate-free wash, and a heat protectant.
Good fit, honest answer
Balayage is for you if
- You want low-maintenance color
- You like a sun-kissed, lived-in finish
- You hate visible regrowth lines
- You can come in every 3–4 months
- You want dimension, not all-over bleach
Consider a different service if
- · You want bright blonde from root to tip (try full foil highlights or all-over)
- · You want grey coverage at the root (try root-touch-up color)
- · You want a single, solid color (try full color)
